16:10 BST - Cautious trade above 1.4000 has given way to the anticipated break, with prices currently trading around 1.3980. Daily readings are negative and overbought weekly stochastics are turning down, highlighting room for deeper losses in the coming sessions. Focus is turning to 1.3950, with a break beneath here opening up 1.3900. However, the rising weekly Tension Indicator is expected to limit any initial tests of here in fresh consolidation. Meanwhile, a close back above 1.4000 would help to stabilise price action and prompt consolidation beneath the 1.4080 weekly high of 14 October.
