10:55 GMT - The anticipated break below the 0.9030 weekly low of 2 March has extended to post a fresh 2026 year low around 0.8980, before bouncing into consolidation above 0.9000. Daily readings are bearish and broader weekly charts are also under pressure, highlighting room for further losses in the coming sessions. A break below 0.8980/00 will add weight to sentiment and extend long-term bear trends initially to 0.8950. Meanwhile, a close above 0.9030 would help to stabilise price action and prompt consolidation beneath 0.9100.
