Japan October flash PMIs Manufacturing 49.0 (prior 49.7) Services 49.3 (prior 49.6)
The USD/JPY has failed to stay above 153 after a brief test on Wednesday. We still haven't heard from any jawboning from Japanese officials which is uncommon and also suggest the current weakness may be tolerated by them. Both the U.S. Treasury and JGB yields are lower so far in the session.
USD/JPY is 0.06% lower at 152.64.
