U.S. June NAHB Homebuilders Index - Still little direction in trend
2
June’s NAHB homebuilders’ index of 35 has seen a correction lower from May’s 37 but is still above April’s 34. There is no clear direction to trend.
It remains to be seen whether the Middle East deal will allow mortgage rates to come down and turn trend positive.
Details show current sales being the only one of the three components to slip. Six month expectations and buyer traffic both sustained May improvements.
