USD, CAD flows: USD little changed after mixed data

US retail sales were near enough in line with expectations, with core a little weaker and headline a little stronger. Canadian CPI has come in mixed, with the headline, core and common measures below consensus but the median and trimmed measures above consensus. USD/CAD has edged a little lower, and the strength of the median and trimmed measures is perhaps slightly more significant, but we wouldn’t draw and major conclusions from any of this data.
