Move waves of missile exchange between U.S. and Iran

Over the weekend, Middle East tension continues to heat up with multiple waves of missiles being exchanged by U.S. and Iran. The U.S. is preparing more aircraft in the region after American troops causality. Iran also laid fresh sea mine that damaged at least two tankers. Equities are not feeling the heat yet while precious metals are still holding up. AUD/USD is trading 0.2% higher at 0.6995. NZD/USD is also 0.18% higher while USD/CAD slips 0.09% with oil up more than 2 USD/b.
USD opened higher on Monday to reflect market participant's haven bids on heightened geopolitical tension. As session progress, market sentiment seems to be digesting the news and see USD softens but so as risk performance. USD/JPY is close to unchanged after refreshing weekly high. Else, EUR/USD is up 0.04% and GBP/USD is up 0.11%.
