U.S.-Iran nuclear talks set for Thursday

China urges US to drop unilateral tariffs after Supreme Court ruling

There has been no weekend strikes on Iran with multiple reports suggest that Trump is still weighing his options. The latest round of U.S. - Iran nuclear talks are set on Thursday in Geneva with polarized expectations. Market participants are reacting with offers in USD on Monday's open. USD/JPY is trading 0.39% lower at 154.42 with a session low of 153.99.

The broader risk sentiment is sour as market participants assess Trump latest tariff after the original one was struck down by U.S. Supreme Court. U.S. major equity indexes are in the red while some regional market is on holiday, except HSI recovering post Chinese New Year losses. Gold and Silver are both trading strongly with more than a percent gains. AUD/USD is trading 0.17% lower at 0.7072 after reaching a session high of 0.7112. NZD/USD is trading 0.14% higher while USD/CAD slips 0.09%. Else, EUR/USD is up 0.36% and GBP/USD is up 0.3%.
