U.S.-Iran ceasefire extension agreed but unconfirmed

The broader market was cautiously optimistic on late Thursday as we hear a 60 day ceasefire extension has been agreed. However, market participants stay vigilant as Trump has not yet endorsed the deal, which could complicate the picture if the Iranian side also walk back on the agreement. Headlines like Iranians requesting full unfreezing of asset before negotiation is definitely not helpful. Both Brent and WTI are looking towards a slightly lower open.
