09:15 BST - Anticipated gains have posted a fresh year high at 0.8180, where unwinding overbought intraday studies are prompting consolidation. Daily readings continue to rise and broader weekly charts are also positive, pointing to room for still further gains in the coming sessions. A break above 0.8180 will open up strong resistance up to the 0.8220 Fibonacci retracement. However, by-then overbought daily stochastics could prompt renewed profit-taking/consolidation towards here. Meanwhile, support remains at the 0.8125 monthly high of 5 November and extends to congestion around 0.8100. A close beneath here, if seen, would turn sentiment neutral once again and prompt consolidation above 0.8050.
