09:30 BST - Consolidation above 0.8100 has given way to anticipated gains, with prices approaching congestion resistance around 0.8150 in USD- and CHF-driven trade. Daily stochastics and the daily Tension Indicator are rising, pointing to room for continuation beyond here towards critical resistance at further congestion around 0.8200 and the 0.8207 current year high of 29 July. But already overbought daily stochastics and mixed/negative weekly charts could limit any initial tests in consolidation.
Meanwhile, a close back below 0.8100 will help to stabilise price action and prompt consolidation above 0.8050.
