11:05 BST - The anticipated break above strong resistance at the 0.9455 Fibonacci retracement has posted a fresh 2026 year high around 0.9475, where a sharp EUR-driven pullback is appearing. Intraday studies are negative and overbought daily stochastics are unwinding, suggesting room for a test of congestion support at 0.9400. But the positive daily Tension Indicator and mixed/positive weekly charts should limit any break in renewed buying interest/consolidation above 0.9350.
Following cautious/corrective trade, fresh gains are looked for. However, a close above 0.9455/75 is needed to turn sentiment positive and extend gains from the 0.8980 current year low of 9 March towards congestion around 0.9500.
