08:50 GMT - Cautious trade above support at 101.50 has given way to a bounce, as intraday studies turn higher, with prices currently pressuring congestion resistance at 102.00. Oversold daily stochastics are also turning up, suggesting room for a break above here. But the bearish daily Tension Indicator and mixed/negative weekly charts should limit initial scope in renewed selling interest/consolidation beneath further congestion around 102.50.
Meanwhile, support remains at 101.50 and extends to the 101.30 Fibonacci retracement. This range should underpin any immediate setbacks. A close beneath here, however, will add weight to sentiment and extend losses from the 102.95 current year high of 14 October below congestion around 101.00 towards the 100.75 retracement.
