10:55 BST - The break above 0.9400 has posted a fresh 2026 year high around 0.9435, before falling back in CHF-driven trade to 0.9385/90. Intraday studies are negative and positive daily readings are flattening, suggesting a deterioration in near-term sentiment and room for a deeper pullback in the coming sessions. Focus is on congestion around 0.9375. A break will open up 0.9350. Initial tests could give way to consolidation, before mixed/negative weekly charts prompt further losses.
Meanwhile, a close back above congestion resistance at 0.9400 would help to stabilise price action. But a further close above 0.9435 is needed to turn sentiment positive and extend March gains initially to the 0.9455 Fibonacci retracement.
