16:30 BST - Little change, as prices extend cautious trade following recent sharp USD- and CAD-driven losses. Daily readings are turning down and broader weekly charts are also under pressure, highlighting room fort further losses in the coming sessions. A later break below strong support at 1.3900 will add weight to already bearish price action and late-June losses towards 1.3800/20. Meanwhile, resistance remains at 1.4000. A close above here, if seen, would help to stabilise price action and give way to consolidation beneath 1.4050.
