08:45 GMT - Cautious trade around 102.00 has given way to a break, as intraday studies turn higher, with prices currently trading around 102.15. Oversold daily stochastics are unwinding and the bearish daily Tension Indicator is showing signs of flattening, suggesting an improvement in sentiment and room for continuation towards congestion resistance at 102.50. However, a tick lower in overbought weekly stochastics should limit any immediate tests above here in renewed selling interest/consolidation towards critical resistance at the 102.85 Fibonacci retracement and the 102.95 current year high of 14 October.
Meanwhile, a close back below 102.00, if seen, would help to stabilise price action and prompt fresh range extension above strong support within the 101.50 range highs and the 101.58 weekly low of 16 October.
